First Grade Phonics Level 2- Ages 6-7
First grade level 2 focuses on teaching long vowel sounds with silent “e” patterns. Children will learn how the silent “e” at the end of words changes the pronunciation of the preceding vowel, focusing on the long “a” and long “i” sound. The program also covers vowel digraphs “ai” and “ay”, vowel digraphs “ee” and “ea”, and the use of final “y” as long “e” sound.
