The Taxonomy page can be viewed in two modes: Collapse Taxonomy and Expanded Full Taxonomy. The collapse mode shows the category of skills that are expected to be assessed in school, such as Word Recognition,
Language Comprehension, Reading Comprehension, Fluency, and Writing. Each one of these concepts is defined in fine print on a tab. When clicked, it leads to a page that lists subskills linked to another page filled with interactive videos, lesson plans, articles, printable worksheets, and more.
Further, explore Reading Universe with featured tabs: Big Picture, Explore Teaching Topics, Top Q & A, and Community. Big Picture drops down to eight highly thought-out educator topics that share the pedagogy of reading research-based instruction and other research methods.
